This position as a Peri-Operative Registered Nurse requires delivery of vital nursing care throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative stages. Key Responsibilities:
- Support patients through pre, intra, and post-operative care
- Function effectively as a scrub nurse or a circulating nurse
- Collaborate closely with surgical personnel
- Keep records precise and compliant with healthcare standards
- Hold and renew BLS certification yearly
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ontario
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Completion of accredited Perioperative Nursing Certification Program
- At least 2 years of peri-operative experience in surgical settings
