Bayshore HealthCare needs a Clinical Educator skilled in training programs, learning technologies, and competency tracking for onsite Ottawa care.
This Clinical Educator partners with operational and clinical leaders, Quality Leads, Clinical Managers, and education stakeholders. The position creates workshops, educational sessions, user guides, and development resources for regulated and unregulated staff. It also evaluates applications and systems, interprets clinical data, and translates findings into targeted education. Work occurs onsite at Greystone Transitional Care Unit on rotating day and evening shifts, occasional weekends, and no nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop workshops and educational sessions using adult learning principles
- Evaluate applications and technologies for updated training materials
- Analyze feedback and recommend improved learning methodologies
- Support Accreditation Canada compliance and annual education plans
- Participate in projects, working groups, and committees
Requirements:
- Three to five years of Registered Nurse experience
- Experience in home care or acute care settings
- Experience with learning management or eLearning platforms an asset
- Ability to interpret clinical data into education initiatives
- Formal or informal leadership experience
