Elevate your nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Unit at BayCare's St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. This full-time position requires on-site attendance with a shift from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
As an Operating Room RN, you will closely manage patient care for surgical patients, applying your expertise to meet high standards of clinical practice. You will play an integral role by delegating tasks and mentoring newer nurses as both a preceptor and charge nurse. Continuous professional accountability is expected, ensuring you stay aligned with best practices in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with clinical standards
- Delegate appropriate activities to team members
- Maintain accountability for nursing practices
- Act as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed
- Work alongside health care teams for patient advocacy
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Preferred 1 year of Operating Room experience
- RN and BLS certifications mandatory
- ACLS certification based on departmental requirements
- Associate's Nursing degree required; Bachelor's preferred
