BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist I to join our outstanding and compassionate team in St. Joseph's Main!
The Behavioral Health Therapist I is responsible for:
- Meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, as well as individual, group and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each individual patient.
- Conducting case management activities as well as discharge planning and maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Providing appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions, services and being knowledgeable about community resources.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
This role requires a Master's prepared in the field of Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field.

Required Certification/License:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Driver's License
- LMFT (Marriage and Family), LMHC (Mental Health) or LCSW (Social Work) - Preferred
Education:
- Master's in Social Work, Psychology or Related Field
Experience:
- 2 years clinical related experience or 9 month internship.
This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
