Lead daily retail operations through merchandising, inventory control, and customer service as a Team Leader within a store department. Guide associates while supporting sales performance.
As a Team Leader, you direct department associates and support the Group Sales Manager or Department Manager. You coordinate schedules, training, product demonstrations, merchandising directives, pricing, and inventory accuracy. You also help resolve customer and associate concerns while promoting a productive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily direction to department associates
- Execute merchandising directives and maintain plan-o-grams
- Prepare task lists and weekly work schedules
- Coordinate training and coach associates
- Resolve customer and associate opportunities with managers
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two to four years of retail sales experience
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Ability to analyze reports and calculate figures
- Proficiency with point-of-sale and inventory systems
