Lead indirect tax advisory in Vancouver with Baker Tilly, applying GST/HST expertise and guiding complex client engagements as a senior leader. You will shape an emerging specialization within Baker Tilly’s growing Tax practice. You will advise clients across industries, serve as an internal technical resource, and collaborate with Canadian, cross border, US, and advisory teams. The work spans compliance, controversy, transactional planning, and practice development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex GST/HST, PST, QST, customs, and indirect tax engagements
- Advise on reorganizations, M&A, due diligence, and supply chains
- Oversee compliance and support audits, objections, and appeals
- Manage teams, budgets, delivery, and senior client relationships
- Develop business, thought leadership, training, and service opportunities
Requirements:
- CPA designation required
- Eight or more years of Canadian indirect tax experience
