Backseat venture is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage tech startups. We are a remote firm, although we are based in Ottawa, Canada.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a VC Partner at Backseat Venture.
The VC Partner will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and managing portfolio companies.
The VC Partner will also be involved in fund management, investor relations, and strategy development.
Qualifications
- Financial analysis, investment evaluation, and due diligence skills
- Negotiation and deal structuring skills
