The Electrical Technician assembles, wires, and tests components at AAG's factory. The work covers electrical panels, pumps, blowers, tables, options, sub-components, final assembly, and quality assurance. You will interpret work orders, blueprints, specifications, and electrical or pneumatic schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and manufacture electrical panels for machine systems
- Cut wires and crimp terminal eyelets and lugs
- Connect wiring to relays, plugs, switches, and solenoids
- Install accessory assemblies using soldering guns and hand tools
- Conduct functional and continuity tests with electrical instruments
Requirements:
- Related post-secondary electrical technician or technologist diploma
- Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Electrical aptitude with attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds
