This Account Executive manages an insurance book of business while pursuing new commercial opportunities. You will quote and bind coverage, cross-sell and up-sell solutions, and maintain highly technical client relationships. The work also includes insurer collaboration, review meetings, proposals, and revenue planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial insurance books and confirm necessary client coverage
- Develop marketing strategies and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct client reviews and identify prospecting opportunities
- Collaborate with insurers on products, pricing, and claims handling
- Prepare plans, proposals, quotes, reports, and account documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum six years of commercial insurance experience
- General Insurance Agent Level 2 license or equivalent
- CAIB, CIP, CRM, or other insurance designation considered an asset
- Post-secondary degree considered an asset
- EPIC broker management system experience considered an asset
