Lead site coordination for Axiom Builders in Victoria, applying construction scheduling and safety leadership to a waterfront residential community. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will support the Superintendent and project team across a four-building, 300-plus-unit development. The work includes coordinating labour, materials, tools, schedules, subcontractors, and construction documentation. You will collaborate with construction leaders, the Project Manager, design professionals, consultants, clients, and trade partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent with site work and drawing compliance
- Plan schedules, labour levels, material quantities, tools, and resources
- Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change notices
- Monitor subcontractor safety, performance, and scope compliance
- Maintain field reports, inspections, schedule updates, and documentation
Requirements:
- Four to five years on multi-family residential projects
- Experience leading people onsite as Foreman or Assistant Superintendent
- Experience from preconstruction through project completion
- Proficiency reviewing structural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents
- Red Seal Carpentry ticket or construction education considered an asset
- Bring residential construction leadership, drawing review, scheduling, and safety experience to Axiom Builders’ Victoria project team.
