As a Security Guard, you will monitor and authorize vehicle and pedestrian entrances while protecting people and property. The night shift supports AVL's Charlotte manufacturing facility and requires communication, independent judgment, and teamwork. You will help prevent unauthorized access, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises and monitor CCTV surveillance systems
- Enforce security policies and prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies
- Inspect buildings and grounds for security risks
- Report incidents and collaborate with law enforcement
Requirements:
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance techniques preferred
- Strong observation skills and constant alertness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy materials
