Lead Agile delivery at Aviva Canada as a Scrum Master, using facilitation and delivery metrics within a hybrid flexible work model. This Scrum Master role supports software or technology delivery teams in a complex insurance organization. You will create conditions for success across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and governance expectations. The work combines Scrum coaching, stakeholder management, Jira discipline, and delivery reporting. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate focused, timeboxed Scrum events and backlog refinement Support sprint goals, capacity planning, estimation, and story slicing Monitor delivery metrics, risks, dependencies, and milestones Remove impediments and follow through on resolution Coach teams and Product Owners toward continuous improvement Requirements:
Scrum Master certification such as Professional Scrum Master or Certified ScrumMaster Experience supporting software or technology delivery teams Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Agile planning, flow, and metrics Experience using Jira for backlogs, sprints, workflows, and reporting Insurance industry delivery experience required; Guidewire preferred Bring Agile coaching, Jira expertise, and disciplined delivery leadership to Aviva Canada’s insurance technology teams.
