This Engineer Design role translates customer requirements into functional system designs for proposals. Responsibilities include architectural drawings, equipment lists, pricing support, and post-sales consultation. The position also supports installation teams and addresses engineering inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate customer requirements into functional system designs
- Develop RCP, floor plan, and acoustical models
- Generate system descriptions, block diagrams, and equipment lists
- Identify cabling, materials, pricing, and labor estimates
- Provide engineering support during project installation
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma
- Formal electronics education preferred
- At least five years of AV experience preferred
- One to two years AV experience plus four-year degree
- AMX and Crestron programming and troubleshooting ability
