Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries. We are currently seeking a qualified Junior Electrical Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- Support production during equipment breakdowns to minimize operational impact.
- Carry out preventive maintenance procedures.
- Assist experienced technicians or technologists.
- Perform work in accordance with internal procedures and comply with the company's health and safety policies.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned.
- Assist in performing tests under the supervision of a more experienced engineer or technician, as assigned.
- Perform calibration, modifications/repairs, and precision measurements on equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
- DEC (Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent in mechanical engineering or electromechanical engineering.
- Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Comfortable with spoken and written French.
- Comfortable with spoken and written English.
Compensation: $63,000 – $68,000 CAD (annual salary).
