We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team.
The Senior Hardware Design Engineer will be part of the hardware design and development team and work alongside various other engineering team members to provide support and assistance where required. You will be responsible for:
- Analyzing product requirements
- Preparing design materials, pricing, and concept diagrams
- Performing various Electrical Engineering related activities including electronic/electrical (low power) circuit design & analysis
- Developing test procedures and conducting testing
- Investigating technical problems and establishing corrective actions
- Managing changes and preparing test reports
- Overall technical coordination within the engineering functions supporting hardware development to ensure that all customer requirements are met
- Establishing and maintaining detailed technical plans, estimates, and schedules; providing status to project engineering and management
- Prioritizing and managing multiple projects/activities with limited and shared resources
- Being the hardware team focal for interfacing with other functional groups and the customer
- Leading technical design reviews with both internal & external customers
- Collaborating with the team in resolving technical problems with both internal and external customers; investigating failures, identifying root causes, and implementing permanent corrective actions
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Strong experience in electronic design
- Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronics design, analysis, simulation, build, test, and support processes
