As an Intermediate Mechanical Designer, you will design and analyze mechanical systems, components, machines, and tools. You will create detailed drawings, bills of materials, and documentation using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The work includes reviewing specifications, standards, materials, machining techniques, and finishes. You will communicate with customers, technical staff, vendors, and project stakeholders while supporting fabrication, integration, and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze mechanical systems, components, machines, and tools
- Perform engineering calculations for machine and tool designs
- Create detail drawings and bills of materials
- Ensure designs comply with OSHA, CE, and applicable standards
- Assist fabricators, machinists, toolmakers, and electricians
Requirements:
- Post-secondary mechanical design or engineering diploma or degree
- Minimum five years of mechanical design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical devices
