Lead industrial piping fabrication in Nisku with expertise in shop operations, welding quality, safety, and production scheduling at PCL Industrial Constructors Inc.
As Superintendent, you will lead field and shop operations for process, utility, and pipeline-related piping spools. This role oversees fabrication execution, production flow, quality compliance, cost control, and safe delivery. You will guide teams across shifts or bays while coordinating clients, inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, and field construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain fabrication facility safety programs and culture
- Own shop flow from material receipt through shipping
- Lead piping spool fabrication across specified material types
- Coordinate schedules, recovery plans, labour, equipment, and materials
- Supervise, coach, train, and mentor shop leadership
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter or Welder certificate preferred
- NCSO designation and Gold Seal certification required
- Fifteen years of progressive supervisory experience preferred
- Experience running a production spool fabrication facility
- Knowledge of piping codes, welding processes, and WPS/PQR requirements
