As a Staff Data Engineer on Jobber’s Data Platform Team, you will shape data integration architecture and delivery. You will design resilient systems, mentor data engineers, and provide architectural direction. Your work will support data ingestion, activation, governance, and self-service access. Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable batch and real-time data pipelines Lead reliability standards, testing, and disaster recovery Build monitoring, logging, lineage, and auditing frameworks Develop self-service tools, automation, and data frameworks Mentor engineers and guide technical excellence Requirements:
Experience with batch and real-time data processing Expertise in warehouse management and dimensional modeling Strong AWS, containerization, CI/CD, and API experience Proficiency in software design, architecture, and coding Background in Terraform, CloudFormation, and observability Bring data engineering mastery, AWS proficiency, and technical leadership to Jobber’s trusted, scalable data platform.
