The Planner will engage in preparing and reviewing Municipal Development Plans, growth projections, and provide guidance to the public on planning matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Research and implement urban planning studies
- Facilitate and monitor subdivision processes and agreements
- Create and prepare statutory plans and reports
- Assist developers and the public with planning questions
- Attend and represent the City in meetings and workshops
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
- RPP designation or membership with planners' institute
- Minimum 2 years' applicable planning experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with a dedicated team
