What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain connectors and integrations between identity platforms and target systems, including HR, cloud, SaaS, directories, and on-prem applications.
  • Develop and operate automated joiner-mover-leaver (JML) provisioning pipelines, favoring API-driven and event-driven patterns over manual work.
  • Operate and harden directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP) and federation infrastructure for reliability and security.
  • Own monitoring, capacity, patching, and incident response for identity platforms, and define and meet provisioning and availability SLAs.
  • Manage identity infrastructure and configuration through version control and CI/CD, documenting and peer-reviewing all changes.
  • Identify high-volume, rules-based, repetitive tasks and automate them, evaluating agentic AI augmentation before requesting incremental effort.
  • Set integration and coding standards, review peers' work, and serve as a backup owner for an adjacent domain to eliminate single points of failure.
  • Ensure engineering outputs, including provisioning logs and integration audit trails, feed audit and resilience evidence directly.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years in identity engineering, IAM platform operations, or a closely related systems/integration engineering role.
  • Connector and integration experience with at least one enterprise IAM/IGA platform (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra, Okta), including custom connector development.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and experience with REST/SCIM APIs and event-driven provisioning.
  • Directory services depth across Active Directory and/or Entra ID, LDAP, and federation (SAML, OIDC).
  • CI/CD and version control proficiency (Git) and an infrastructure-as-code mindset, with operational rigor in monitoring, incident response, and SLA-driven platform ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud identity experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP IAM.
  • Exposure to non-human identity (NHI) and secrets management concepts.
  • Relevant certifications (vendor IAM certifications, cloud, or security).
  • Experience introducing AI or agentic automation into identity workflows with human-in-the-loop controls.
