As a full-time Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist reporting to the Director of HSE, you will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance workplace safety. You'll lead hazard assessments, conduct incident investigations, and develop engaging HSE training programs. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering a safe and compliant environment that protects employees and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support leadership on all HSE-related operations
- Identify workplace hazards and improvement opportunities
- Develop and monitor HSE programs exceeding standards
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrections
- Conduct HSE training and new hire orientations
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of HSE experience in relevant sectors
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
- CRSP designation preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and training skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
