The Senior Manager, Business Development leads opportunities supporting Atura Power’s corporate strategy and Ontario’s energy policy direction. You will assess electricity projects, develop business cases, structure partnerships, and guide investments toward approval. The role spans natural gas, wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen, and customer-driven energy solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Provide market insights and investment recommendations to senior leadership Originate and prioritize electricity generation and storage opportunities Lead business cases, feasibility assessments, and investment proposals Negotiate partnerships, PPAs, and commercial agreements Maintain development budgets and disciplined capital allocation Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, or related discipline Eight to twelve years’ energy-sector business development or strategy experience Experience advancing infrastructure projects through feasibility, structuring, and FID Knowledge of generation economics, electricity markets, and project development Financial modelling, investment analysis, and executive communication capability Bring strategic energy development, commercial structuring, and investment expertise to Atura Power’s expanding Ontario opportunity pipeline.
