Analyze SMF/RMF data and forecast z/OS capacity as a Capacity and Performance Manager at Atos. Optimize performance, resources, and software costs. This manager ensures mainframe capacity meets current and future business needs. The position analyzes utilization, workloads, incidents, thresholds, and forecasts to prevent overload. It recommends service levels, performance improvements, and capacity requirements to the GTD Capacity Coordinator and Capacity Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform capacity planning for hardware and software platforms
- Analyze demand, workload, utilization, and forecast data
- Develop forecasts and report component utilization trends
- Maintain monitoring levels and capacity management database data
- Recommend actions addressing risks, variances, and constraints
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience in computer science or systems
- Five or more years in a z/OS mainframe environment
- Experience in capacity planning, performance, or operations
- Fluent English and French with professional working proficiency
- SMF/RMF, CPU, MSU, R4HA, I/O, and memory knowledge
- Use mainframe analytics, forecasting, and optimization expertise to strengthen Atos capacity decisions, service levels, and resource utilization.
