Lead health and safety expertise for AtkinsRéalis’ Toronto project, supporting T/HIRA coordination, audits, training, and safety performance. Work across project teams. The position provides guidance across the program and supports Safety & Security results through stakeholder relationships, contractor coordination, data analysis, and improvement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding, training, reporting, and incident investigation duties
- Provide health and safety expertise, advice, and guidance
- Confirm contractors implement site-specific safety plan measures
- Conduct assessments and audits, recommending corrective actions
- Report risks and issues to appropriate decision makers
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in health and safety
- Minimum seven years of professional onsite health and safety experience
- Experience working within construction environments
- Experience developing and implementing health and safety management plans
- Strong stakeholder management with owners, consultants, and contractors
