AtkinsRéalis seeks an HSQE Coordinator for a one-year fixed-term contract supporting safety, quality, and environmental performance. You will help maintain ISO-based management systems, support compliance programs, and promote safety across a 24/7 transit operation. The work is mainly on-site, with limited remote work arranged in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and inspections across Canada Line field operations
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and support control measures
- Investigate incidents and near misses using root cause analysis
- Track KPIs, analyze trends, and prepare performance reports
- Deliver training, coaching, and HSQE communications
Requirements:
- Education in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline
- One to two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance
- Understanding of BC legislation and ISO-based management systems
- Availability for occasional night or after-hours work
