Lead nuclear engineering design with AtkinsRéalis, applying technical leadership and multidisciplinary coordination to complex power plant projects. Travel may be required. AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Engineer who works independently while guiding junior staff and delivering nuclear power plant engineering services. The position covers design leadership, technical deliverables, engineering changes, and stakeholder coordination within a matrix organization. Strong communication and problem-solving support this work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex engineering documents and technical deliverables
- Lead conceptual, preliminary, and detailed nuclear design activities
- Define scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, and resource needs
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and resolve technical interface issues
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer registration in Canada or eligibility
- At least 15 years of relevant engineering experience
- Significant nuclear industry and senior technical experience
- Knowledge of nuclear codes, standards, and quality requirements
