Lead nuclear electrical design using 2D and 3D CAD for AtkinsRéalis projects supporting CANDU technology and plant operations. Work across technically complex projects. This position supports Ontario new builds, international new builds, refurbishment, and continuous plant operation modifications. You will coordinate layouts, review deliverables, manage design scope, and guide technical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead system-level plot plans and plant equipment layouts
- Prepare, modify, coordinate, and review design deliverables
- Identify design issues and maintain schedule and budget
- Manage scope changes with project teams
- Coach others in technical and CAD skills
Requirements:
- College diploma or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10 years in mechanical design and drafting
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and related design software
- Ability to incorporate marked-up drawings into AutoCAD files
- Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, OESC, CEC, or CSA standards considered an asset
