Lead nuclear civil design with 2D/3D CAD expertise at AtkinsRéalis, supporting technically complex projects across Ontario and international new builds. Coordinate layouts, reviews, and project delivery. As a Senior Civil Designer, you will support CANDU Energy Inc. and AtkinsRéalis Nuclear Inc. engineering work. Your focus includes plot plans, plant layouts, equipment layouts, deliverable reviews, and CAD procedures. You will also coordinate scope, schedules, budgets, and technical collaboration across nuclear projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead system-level plot plan and plant layout design
- Develop equipment layouts using 2D/3D CAD
- Review design deliverables for accuracy and consistency
- Manage scope changes and mitigate scope creep
- Coach others in technical and CAD skills
Requirements:
- College diploma or equivalent work experience
- Minimum nine years in mechanical design and drafting
- Working knowledge of listed CAD and design software
- Ability to incorporate marked-up drawings into AutoCAD files
- Knowledge of NBCC, CSA, or ASME codes is an asset
