Lead process engineering delivery for the CANDU MONARK Project in Ontario, coordinating nuclear design, technical guidance, and multidisciplinary stakeholders. The Project Technical Manager, Process Engineering, leads process engineering scopes from basic engineering through detailed design. As part of the Engineering Management Team, this manager oversees professionals supporting nuclear power plant design. The work includes Nuclear Steam Plant and Balance of Plant interfaces, governance, and stakeholder coordination. The position reports functionally to the Technical Director, Process and Equipment Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process engineering scopes through basic and detailed design
- Manage and develop process engineering professionals
- Plan delivery against quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements
- Coordinate nuclear power plant process engineering activities
- Support resource forecasting, issue resolution, and risk mitigation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering, or Engineering Science
- At least 10 years of engineering experience
- Professional Engineer registration in Ontario or eligibility within six months
- Five-plus years on refurbishment or new-build projects
- Two-plus years of people leadership experience
