  • Perform activities related to machine design and controls, and in support of manufacturing, assembly, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and process controls systems.
  • Participate in technical, conceptual and detail design meetings in front of peers, clients and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with technical guidance to drafting staff.
  • Provide engineering support to quality surveillance, manufacturing, assembly and testing with non-conformances.

  • Provide consultation and/or review and approval of engineering quotation request packages and purchase requisitions.
  • Perform any other administrative or analytical review or investigation as directed.
  • Self-study of the requisite quality procedures required to perform typical engineering and/or project administration tasks.

Experience supporting various types of projects, including construction, manufacturing, or engineering services projects, is considered an asset. Progression within a recognized course of college or university study; preference will be given to engineering and/or engineering technology students.

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, integrity and trust, excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills are essential. An appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry is considered an asset. Problem-solving skills are also important.

A degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university is required.
