Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is part of a team dedicated to maintaining safe, efficient, and high-performing facilities.
- Perform scheduled preventive and general maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems.
- Monitor environmental and building protection systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Support the maintenance and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical distribution, lighting, and water treatment systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to tenant needs in a professional manner.
- Identify and address operational issues to support facility performance and reliability.
- Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety legislation, standards, policies, procedures, and practices.
About You
- Proficiency in building systems maintenance supported by a certificate in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or a recognized Building Systems Technician program, with at least 2 years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of environmental, mechanical, electrical, life safety, and DDC systems in office and warehouse facilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to make effective technical decisions in emergency situations and work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Aptitude for delivering excellent customer service, supported by strong verbal and written communication skills and a valid driver's license with access to a personal vehicle.
- Note: The candidate must be willing and able to work after hours and weekends as required and to be available for standby rotation to respond to afterhours service requests.
