As an Environmental Scientist with AtkinsRéalis, you will support the Site Assessment & Remediation team across transportation, infrastructure, water, power, and renewables. The full-time position requires two office days weekly. Your work includes sampling programs, technical reporting, stakeholder consultation, and corrective action planning for contaminated sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan environmental sampling and investigation programs
- Develop sampling protocols and analytical parameters
- Complete site assessments under Ontario regulatory requirements
- Prepare technical reports and remediation recommendations
- Interpret findings and communicate results to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of environmental consulting experience
- Two years of progressive planning or project management responsibility
- Knowledge of Ontario Regulations 153/04 and 406/19
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ontario P.Eng. or P.Geo. eligibility is an asset
