As a Civil Designer, you will contribute to roadway and municipal infrastructure projects within AtkinsRéalis' Municipal and Transportation Infrastructure team. You will prepare designs, drawings, contract packages, and technical documentation. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and construction personnel supports project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare preliminary and detailed roadway designs
- Develop design drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and quantity calculations
- Support site visits and construction reviews
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum four years of Civil Engineering experience
- Experience emphasizing roadway design
- Knowledge of Ontario or TAC geometric design standards
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and MS Project
