This coordinator serves employees, subcontractors, and potential new hires assigned to Darlington and Pickering Nuclear Generating Stations. Responsibilities include clearance applications, renewals, access requests, and radiological documentation. The position also supports TLD verification, visitor badging, and Training and Development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as contact for OPG Clearance Office applications and renewals
- Confirm active clearance status across assigned employees
- Obtain worker dose history from National Dose Registry
- Provide radiological access forms during new hire onboarding
- Facilitate TLD verification for new and existing employees
Requirements:
- One to two years of related administrative experience
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Collaborative approach to working within teams
- Strong decision making, urgency, and accountability
- Customer oriented with careful attention to detail
