Lead nuclear piping engineering in Mississauga using CANDU systems knowledge, piping design expertise, and applicable codes and standards. AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Piping Engineer for mechanical engineering work within its Canadian nuclear engineering group. You will support conceptual, preliminary, and detailed CANDU or nuclear process system designs. The work includes piping supports, pipe sizing, equipment layouts, technical documents, and design change packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering work under quality programs and applicable regulations
- Coordinate clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and design disciplines
- Prepare piping layouts, supports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Develop TSSA registration and design change packages
- Support construction, commissioning, field changes, and closeout activities
Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering degree recognized by Professional Engineers Ontario
- Mandatory Professional Engineer license
- Minimum ten years of related heavy industrial experience
- Knowledge of piping systems, equipment, layouts, and stress considerations
- Strong communication, technical writing, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
