Design mechanical piping systems in Mississauga through pipe sizing, supports, equipment layouts, and technical documentation for nuclear projects. AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Senior Piping Engineer within its nuclear engineering organization in Canada. This position contributes to CANDU or nuclear process system modifications across conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases. You will prepare drawings, calculations, design reports, specifications, requisitions, and engineering change documentation while coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces. Key Responsibilities:
Develop pipe sizing, piping supports, and equipment layouts Review designs using S3D and Smart Plant Review Prepare drawings, calculations, reports, manuals, and data sheets Prepare procurement requisitions and engineering quotation requests Review supplier documents and perform technical bid analyses Requirements:
Mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university or equivalent Professional Engineer license required for this position At least ten years of heavy industrial mechanical engineering experience Working knowledge of applicable CSA, ASME, and ANSI codes Ability to resolve technical problems logically and practically Bring senior mechanical piping design experience, code knowledge, and engineering judgment to AtkinsRéalis nuclear work in Mississauga.
