Design municipal roadways in Toronto using AutoCAD and Civil 3D while supporting AtkinsRéalis infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
As a Civil Designer, you will support AtkinsRéalis' Municipal & Transportation Infrastructure team. Your work includes roadway design, contract packages, design documentation, and construction reviews. Collaboration spans multidisciplinary teams, clients, stakeholders, agencies, and construction personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare preliminary and detailed roadway designs
- Develop drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and quantity calculations
- Support design reports, meetings, site visits, and reviews
- Coordinate project delivery with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum four years of Civil Engineering experience
- Roadway design experience with Ontario or TAC standards
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and MS Project
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
