The Education Support Worker – Post-Secondary supports students applying to or attending post-secondary institutions. Responsibilities include success strategies, resource navigation, institutional liaison, and sponsorship funding assistance. The position also involves preparing project materials and student support documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for students and help locate available resources
- Assist with sponsorship applications for post-secondary funding
- Visit student institutions in person or virtually
- Prepare proposals and maintain project filing systems
- Liaise with post-secondary institutions as required
Requirements:
- Diploma in Education, Child and Youth Worker, or Social Services
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and clean abstract
- Annual Criminal Reference and Vulnerable Sector Checks
- First Aid and CPR with AED certification
- Current internal employee or Atikameksheng Anishnawbek band member
