As a Communication Technologist with ATCO Energy Systems, you will install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain diverse communications equipment. Your work includes RF carriers, multiplex equipment, mobile radios, fiber optics, and IP networks. You will also maintain radio site buildings, HVAC, grounds, and support systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain IP network equipment
- Troubleshoot communications systems and analyze failures
- Install and maintain telecommunications equipment
- Perform preventative and predictive equipment maintenance
- Document activities in Maximo
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Technical diploma in electronics or telecommunications
- At least two years of communications technology experience
- Strong IP networking and computer skills
- Valid Class 5 operator's license
