Apply investment banking expertise to energy transactions as an experienced Associate with ATB Capital Markets, working onsite in downtown Calgary. Within the Energy & Infrastructure group, you will support Investment Banking, M&A and financing mandates. The work spans upstream energy, infrastructure and broader energy expansion initiatives. You will collaborate with clients, senior management and professionals across ATB Capital Markets to deliver advice and develop strategic business ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate energy assets and corporate entities for M&A opportunities
- Coordinate deal teams supporting transactions and mandate execution
- Research industries, competitors and markets for advisory solutions
- Develop databases, valuation models and research frameworks
- Prepare pitchbooks, CIMs and executive board presentations
Requirements:
- Prior upstream energy, investment banking or capital markets experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, geology or geophysics
- Strong preference for reserves evaluator experience or expertise
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bring energy-sector insight, transaction execution capability and valuation expertise to ATB Capital Markets’ Calgary investment banking team.
