Advantage Assist has served Alberta senior living communities for over 20 years. This Licensed Practical Nurse role supports residents through skilled nursing care, treatment plans, and comfort-focused service. You will assess complex needs, lead Health Care Aides, and collaborate with families and external care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care and complete resident treatments
- Monitor vital signs and complex health needs
- Help residents and families understand care procedures
- Lead Health Care Aides in high-quality care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Diploma from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Unrestricted active registration with CLHA
- Current CPR/BCLS certification for healthcare providers
- Seniors care or gerontology experience considered an asset
- Compassionate, professional presence with sound judgment
