Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO) 6-12 months
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and execute automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright in the trading applications domain. This is a contract QA role focused on hands-on test framework development, test case design, and component-level validation for trading systems.
Must Haves:
- 10+ years in Quality Engineering or Automation Testing
- Strong proficiency with Python for test development
- Hands-on ability to design and write test cases for complex trading applications
- Practical knowledge of SQL for data validation and test logic
Nice to Have:
- Experience building testing systems for financial or portfolio platforms
- Familiarity with component isolation and end-to-end pairing of modules
- Exposure to CI/CD integration for test automation
- Work within multi-engineer QA teams on large automation deliveries
