Role Descriptions:
- Assisting in translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Performing all required tasks to ensure technical availability.
- Assisting in interpreting operational results.
- Analyzing usage patterns and establishing schedules and procedures for maximum utilization of the system.
- Maintaining reports and reporting tools for traffic management, service centers and enterprise partners.
- Interacting with other organizations to develop solutions for anticipated technical needs in support of business objectives.
- Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interface with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
- Provide cost and time estimates for assigned work packages to support the development of time tables and project plans.
- Coordinate coding, testing, implementation, integration and documentation of solution.
- Act as a technical solution provider (subject matter expert) to provide solutions that potentially impact other dependent projects and applications.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Mainframe expert with 10+ years hands-on experience.
- 5+ years on mainframe application support experience.
- zOS MVS/TSO/ISPF JCL IMS /DB/DC CICS DB2 VSAM COBOL ZEKE File-AID or File-Manager IDZ GitHub/Jenkins/UCD.
- Scheduling Mainframe batch jobs through schedulers like CA7 and BMC Control-M.
- Experience on SoapUI.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience on MQ WAS SPUFI XPEDITER REXX/CLIST.
- DevOps OnDemand Server experience with 3+ years on Windows server.
- Experience with DVM WinSCP.
