- Role Description
Experience Required
6–8 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, estimation, execution, defect management, reporting, and release readiness for Guidewire P&C initiatives.
- Drive testing across Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center, Contact Manager, and core insurance workflows.
- Validate quote, bind, policy change, renewal, cancellation, billing, claims, documents, and customer updates.
- Lead REST/SOAP API and integration testing for payloads, mappings, authentication, errors, and downstream impacts.
- Coordinate SIT, E2E, regression, UAT support, production checkout, defect triage, and status reporting.
- Identify automation opportunities for functional, regression, and API coverage.
- Required Skills
- 8+ years of QA testing experience, including test lead ownership.
- 5+ years of Guidewire testing, preferably Policy Center plus Billing Center, Claim Center, or Contact Manager.
- Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge across Personal and/or Commercial Lines.
- Experience in functional, integration, API, regression, E2E, UAT, and production validation testing.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, Soap UI, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, HP ALM, and Agile.
- Preferred Skills
- Guidewire certification.
- Guidewire Cloud, upgrade/migration, and implementation experience.
- GTF, GT API, or GT: UI experience.
- Selenium, REST Assured, Java, Python, Jenkins, Git, and data reconciliation.
- Knowledge of rating, underwriting, billing, claims, and regulatory workflows.
