Associated Engineering seeks an experienced Civil Technologist for transportation and civil infrastructure projects. You will prepare drawings, contract documents, figures, maps, and data analysis. The work includes municipal roads, water and wastewater conveyance, pumping, tunneling, trenchless installations, and district energy piping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Prepare contract documents, drawings, figures, maps, and data analysis
- Work with survey, LiDAR, and GIS datasets
- Support construction administration, inspections, sketches, and record drawings
- Complete quality control and quality assurance checks
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Design or Drafting Technology
- Five-plus years designing transportation and municipal infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Strong communication, organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Lower Mainland municipal standards and specifications
