As a civil and structural engineer in Transmission, Distribution, and Energy production, you will deliver specifications, designs, and documents. The work includes project planning, design criteria, final design review, schedules, and estimates. You will develop expertise across LV, MV, and HV energy transmission and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design civil and structural work for electrical substations
- Complete structural, foundation, and hydraulic calculations
- Prepare AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and 3D drawings
- Develop containment systems and MOECP compliance reports
- Conduct occasional site visits and review final designs
Requirements:
- University degree in civil or structural engineering
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario
- High-voltage substation design experience in power transmission
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MS Office
