As a Junior Transportation Analyst, you will prepare transportation studies, traffic assessments, and active and public transportation analyses. You will use Synchro, SIDRA, AIMSUN, VISUM/VISSIM, and SynchroSim for intersection reviews, modeling, simulation, and operational analysis. The position also includes technical reporting, road geometry, signals, bicycle lanes, and bus lanes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review transportation and traffic studies
- Conduct intersection analysis using Synchro and SIDRA
- Participate in mobility modeling and simulation activities
- Coordinate technical report preparation
- Represent project teams with clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Working toward Ontario P.Eng. licensure
- Knowledge of transportation engineering standards
- Strong report-writing and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Proficiency with civil engineering design software
