Use Drupal, HTML, and CSS as a Web Communications Officer in Ottawa, Ontario, supporting UTE’s internal and external digital communications. This is permanent full-time work. The Web Communications Officer develops and maintains UTE websites, applications, and communication materials. The position combines web development, social media, database management, and bilingual communications. You will advise management, support the Communications Committee, and help users understand web-based applications. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain UTE websites, applications, and communication materials Create web, print, video, and social media campaign pieces Monitor website security, efficiency, backups, and search visibility Manage email lists, web content, captions, and subscriber distribution Coordinate website design, navigation, graphics, content, and function Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma in web development, programming, digital media, or related field Three to five years of progressively responsible experience Expertise with Drupal, web applications, social media, email, and analytics tools Hands-on HTML, CSS, PHP, APIs, and SQL experience Excellent written and verbal English and French communication skills Bring Drupal, web development, social media, and bilingual communication expertise to UTE’s Ottawa communications team.
