Under the supervision of the transportation coordinator, the truck driver ensures deliveries are made within tight deadlines while adapting to logistical changes, both at the factory and on job sites.
More specifically, the truck driver will be responsible for:
- Deliver materials to construction sites in Quebec and Ontario (primarily Ottawa);
- Be prepared to spend one night away from home per week for deliveries in Ontario, returning home the other nights;
- Move trailers around the factory grounds;
- Ensure compliance with road safety standards as well as occupational health and safety standards;
- Keep records up to date;
- Provide courteous and professional customer service;
- May be called upon to handle transportation scheduling and management for 6 to 8 weeks per year, as a substitute for the transportation coordinator;
- Perform any other related tasks.

- Valid Class 1 driver's license;
- At least 5 years of experience driving heavy vehicles;
- Good driving record;
- A good understanding of transportation and logistics operations;
- Experience in dispatching (preferred).
