Field Service Technician – Oshawa

The impact you will have:

• As a Service Technician, you will apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and products for the Arjo customer on-site within the care facility.
• You will support customers by securing the best possible condition for mobility products and solutions.

As the Field Service Technician you will be responsible for:

• Scheduling and providing preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities.
• Effectively promoting and selling Arjo service agreements and products.
• Supervising equipment installation and/or performing uncrate and assembly services.
• Instructing customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
• Assisting sales personnel in marketing all Arjo equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads).
• Maintaining an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

The skills you will need:

• Undergraduate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of field-based electromechanical repair and maintenance experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of face-to-face technical customer service experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of sales and/or promotion of service products experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and technical repair skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular basis, including overnight stays when needed.
